Worlds
Astrel
The world of Astrel is relatively small but still has a large population and rich history, this world is
where the events of HaLo take place. Astrel is connected to its sister world of Utral, which is located in a
different universe. These two worlds have been connected and crossing paths since their creation.
Astrel Continents
Astrel consists of four continents. These four continents were created by Aagi and Gishi.
Map
Acausia
The northernmost continent. It consists of 3 major regions that are all connected
Prauw Chait
Prauw Chait is the biggest of the three regions. It is located from the east to west of Acausia with Ocsana
to the north and Ushyae to the south west. Prauw Chait is also located above Ioshar, allowing monsters to
cross into the grasslands. There are not a lot of people in Prauw Chait and so the monsters don't pose a huge
concern. The area is very rustic, lots of farmland and wildlife. Huge grasslands but also dense with jungles
to the west. It only has smaller villages due to its low density Many beasts roam this area (mostly not
dangerous) and low magic energy is present, most inhabitants cannot use magic.
Ocsana
Ocsana is a mountainous area, which is rich with resources. It is located on the northernmost part of
Acausia, causing it to have colder climates. There are some cities but also mostly has villages due to it
being mountainous. There is low magic energy in this area.
Ushyae
Most technologically advanced of the three regions, has the biggest major city. Ushyae is near the oceans
which means it's filled with fishing towns as well. There is high magic energy in Ushyae which means a large
magic population. Although Ushyae is located right above Ioshar and is highly populated, the people aren't
concerned as there is a large magic barrier that surrounds the entire region.
Edros
Located to the west of Ioshar and the south of Acausia. Rain forests and swamp heavy, there is only one city,
Adreyburg. In Edros there is high magic energy, so there is also a high magic population multicultural
population, mixed people but mostly native Edrians.
Adreyburg (Capital city)
consists of older styled buildings, not super advanced in terms of technology. There's a good mix of magic
and non magic users, its size and proximity to Ioshar makes it less populated compared to Muhna. Edros has a
lot of rivers. Average magic energy. Most people who live here are older because they can sustain a calm
lifestyle.
History of Edros
Edros has always had a small population. After the destruction of Ioshar, the population decreased even more,
leaving little people to live in Edros. During the destruction of Ioshar, several monsters ventured into
Edros, living within the dense rainforests. There, they ended up setting a section of it on fire, subsequently
destroying a part of the rainforest. The fire reached Adreyberg, destroying half of the city. A lot of people
were killed in the fire. To put out the fire the citizens of Audryberg called upon the beasts within the
swamps to put out the fire and fight off the evil creatures. Edros then created a physical barrier between
Ioshar and itself to prevent any beasts from coming in. Citizens who are capable of magic are also able to
ward them off.
Ioshar
Southeastern most continent of Astrel. Extremely high but super unstable magic energy, dark energy surrounds
the area, desert around the perimeter but the interior is filled with forests and caves. Ruins of past cities
are littered around the area. No known population - basically uninhabitable, some people have set up a base
camp for willing explorers. Known for the Temple of Gishi at the heart of the continent no one has
successfully explored the temple in its entirety, they’ve either gone missing and have never come out or died
along the way.
History of Ioshar
The original purpose of the temple was to worship Gishi. After she became corrupted with evil she was
disgraced and turned into a demon from the evil energy. She was taken over by the evil and she massacred and
ate all of her worshipers to satiate her new need for power which resulted from the human’s want for power
(destroying everything made her feel unstoppable kinda thing) but it wasn’t enough. Gishi opened up the
underworlds and allowed demons, beasts and creatures to roam Ioshar. Gishi planned on having these demons
become her servants so she could have absolute control over the land. The entire human population in Ioshar
was wiped out. Upon seeing this, the goddess of purity, Aagi, sealed off Gishi inside her own temple before
anymore damage could be done. Unfortunately, Aagi was only powerful enough to seal Gishi away by sealing
herself along with her. Beasts and demons still roam Ioshar to this day. It is rumoured that a winged
man-eating beast, one of the creatures released by Gishi, guards the temple and eats those who dare enter,
forever being loyal to Gishi.
Muhna
Continent of Astrel. It is an island to the west of Edros and Acausia. People of all different countries live
here making it very multicultural. It has a high density and large cities takes up most of the land. There are
mountains surrounding most the island, the southeast end of the island consists of beaches and docks. Muhna
has smaller fishing industry, and its main industry is mostly tourism. Average magic energy, good place for
people of both magic and non magic lineage.
History of Muhna
Before Muhna became a highly populated continent, very few people lived here as natives. These natives did
not contain any magic and prayed to the Gods for their safety as they could not protect themselves as well as
those with magic. Aagi granted some of these people holy magic to protect those who did not have magic. After
the destruction of Ioshar, many inhabitants of its neighbours (Acausia + Edros) fled towards Muhna out of
fear. The natives were welcoming of the new inhabitants at first, however, the Ushyaens quickly began land
developments much to the natives’ displeasure. There were proper negotiations afterwards which appealed to the
Muhnar population and they allowed the developments to happen. Their only condition was to leave the holy
grounds alone so that Aagi’s kingdom remained pure. Now, Muhna is very ethnically diverse and has a majority
Ushyaen population, following with Edrians, Prauw Chaits, Muhnars and Ocsanis respectively.
Utral
The world of Utral is larger than Astrel but has less history and a smaller population. Utral is connected to
its sister world of Astrel, located in a different universe. These two have been connected and crossing paths
since their creation.
Continents
Utral consists of 2 continents, created and ruled by Acreus, Ula, and Kuorr

Yehana
Floating island, would overlap with Muhna. Extremely sacred land, only those deemed worthy or who have been
touched by the Gods may enter, mainly deserts, holy grounds at the heart of the continent. Three Gods are
worshipped here,
Rashnal
Lively bustling cities, not super advanced but people are happy, most everyone is capable of using magic, non
magic users are looked down upon and treated poorly. Most magic user supremacists come from Rashnal.
Alternate Realms
God Land
Exists separately from either universe, kind of like a big game room lol the gods come here to chillax idk
its where they existed before they made their universes. Only gods can access and they can bring whoever they
want but they wouldnt really bc like ?? who would they bring lol theyre friendless losers T_T HAHAHA
Angel HQ
maybe ill give it a better name one day but for now. Angel hq. This exists in the skies of astrel but in a
separate plane of existence so u cant just take a plane there u know? Humans dont know abt the existence of
angels other than those that know mir/maru. They arent supposed to make themselves known to the people but um
oopsies! They arent as powerful as gods ofc, their main job is just to make sure the planet doesnt implode and
maintain the magical energies. Angels have made rules w the demons lawl acreus nvr said anything abt that
teehee.
Demon Realm
the underworld was created when gishi went bonkers and started to create her army. Deep down she still loved
her planet and didnt want to cause harm so she still had them sealed in the core of the planet but as her
sensability slipped away, she opened the gates and let them go wild. Mostly mindless beasts who wanted to
terrorize for gishi came through. Some of the others stayed in the demon realm, having no interest in
serving/continuing the terror or going up to the surface after she was sealed away. Over time the demons
evolved into greater beings, highly intelligent but bored out of their minds. There were also quite a few
magic users that specialize in summoning demons. Due to their nature of being created for the sole purpose of
servitude, they are obligated to fulfill their duties when contracted, but that doesn’t mean they cant make
their own terms smirk. Obvs bc of all the monsters n sht that came to the surface, the underworld isn't very
popular amongst the surface dwellers. There was only one entrance to the demon realm which was at the temple
of ioshar, but it has since been sealed. The only way a demon can escape is to be summoned and they can only
return once their contract is fulfilled. When a demon is summoned, its not a specific target. The magic users
cast their spell which opens a portal, perhaps to the most suitable demon, perhaps not, depends how good the
magic user is. The demon can choose to step through or not, but once they do, no other demon can go through. A
contract Must be created or theyre stuck in the surface world, ofc a demon doesnt have to make a contract,
they can just kill the summoner and wreak havoc tdgaf. BUT!!! The angels can hunt them down bc theyre on the
surface illegally LOL they gotta have a job/human host. If they complete their contract they Must go back to
the demon realm unless they can find another contract. A contract can only be made once per person.
